Are you saying that MJ use should have no bearing on driveing a vehical?

I have ZERO info on MJ involvment in accodents I do know that a majorty of the users I have known over the years seem to be easly distracted and do not tend to use the best judgment (2 qualitys that would not bold well for a driver)

That is my thought as well......At this point I do not really care if MJ is leagel or not so long as they can treat it more like Achocol and less like cigerrats

I have heard of marijuana leading to the use of other stronger drugs. Is it not gateway drug? I believe it is.

I'm saying it has little effects, I'd stack up any marijuana alone accidents against alcohol or any other drug.. Is there a breathalyzer for prescription medications? No there isn't, so should pain killers and muscle relaxers be banned? I'll also stack the effects of marijuana use and prescription drug use, then compare the accident/death statistics, I'd guarantee prescription drugs are 10 times worse. Cops can do the same thing with someone who is under the influence of marijuana as they do a pill, a breathalyzer isn't necessary.

And no, it's not a gateway drug. That's a bull**** myth that's been repeated over and over, like it kills all your braincells.

What I meant was, should the use of prescription drugs be banned period, because there isn't a breathalyzer for it? Of course it shouldn't be, because there are other methods/tests which could be used for marijuana use just the same.

And I'm guessing that has come from 1 study? For every study that says it is a gateway, I could probably find one that says it isn't to match it...there's actually been quite a few that says it isn't. Usually if you can make an gateway argument for marijuana, you can make other arguments like for alcohol use like you said or tobacco for that matter...you can correlate really anything you like to, it's a matter of opinion IMO.

My guess is the silent majority of Californians will vote No to have legalized and this won't pass anyway.

I would like to see the study that says that 90% of hard drug users started with marijuana.

And you cannot use government studies, for years the accuracy and methods of testing used by the government have been found to be unreliable. The studies have been propoganda studies to stir fear towards marijuana use.

I think you are underselling the progressive stance of most Californians. Their setup now, the medical marijuana dispensaries, are just a shelter. If you want to get marijuana in California, its not that hard at all.
